“Favor, Aint Fair”

I find it interesting the people who tend to befriend you are the ones who want to stab you in the back the most. Let me clarify. I am not speaking about my sister circle. I am speaking of my professional circle. You know the people who you vent to about work, share ideas with and collborate with? Yeah those people. At some point you start to trust in these individuals, thinking that they will have your back right? Hmm. Well not so much.
I have come to realize that a lot of people do not like to see you shine. Illuminate, glow be this ray of light to others. They find ways to dim your light, put out your fire and darken the space around you. Their sole purpose is to tarnish your name while making themselves look bigger and better. Not realizing that this only makes them look weak, incompetent and much smaller in comparison.
But when you are given a special gift, it is hard for people to handle that. Like the saying goes, “Favor, aint fair”. I will not allow the preswnce of others, the opinion of others to infiltrate my being. I will continue to stand strong and radiate what others find it hard to do: be the light. I will continue to be a blessing and touch the lives of those I come into contact with. I will use the talents and gifts God gave me to fulfill my destiny. When love lives within you, no one can take that away from you. ❤️

  1. I agree. People only try to hurt and stab you in the back because they are unhappy with themselves and the choices they have made. They don’t want to see the next man move ahead because it will remind them of their unhappy selves . The negativity usually comes from a place of fear and insecurity. Boxes for everyone my friend . Keep them there and keep on shining ! ❤️ Xoxo
